This Privacy Policy explains how Day Zero (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you visit getday0.com (the “Site”) or get in touch with us. Day Zero is operated by Ami Burstin, a sole operator based in Israel (not a registered company).
Information we collect
- Information you give us. When you submit the contact form or email us, we collect your name, email address, and the contents of your message.
- Booking information. If you book a call, scheduling is handled by Cal.com, which collects the details you provide to book (name, email, and any notes). See Cal.com’s privacy policy.
- Usage data. Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security and reliability. If website analytics are enabled, aggregate usage data (such as page views and referrers) is collected; see our Cookie Policy.
How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiries and provide the services you request.
- To operate, maintain, and secure the Site.
- To understand, in aggregate, how the Site is used so we can improve it.
Legal bases (EEA/UK visitors)
Where the GDPR applies, we process your information on the basis of your consent (for example, when you contact us), our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Site and our business, and to comply with legal obligations.
Service providers
We share information only with providers that help us run the Site and our business, under appropriate safeguards. These currently include:
- Vercel — website hosting and delivery.
- Sanity — content management.
- Formspree — processing contact-form submissions.
- Resend — delivering Homepage Teardown intake submissions and confirmation emails.
- Cal.com — call scheduling.
- Vercel Web Analytics — privacy-friendly, cookieless website analytics (aggregate page views and events; no cross-site tracking).
- Google Analytics — website analytics (aggregate usage, behaviour, and geography). It sets first-party cookies. For visitors in the EU, EEA, UK, and Switzerland, these are set only with your consent; see our Cookie Policy. Data may be processed by Google outside your country under appropriate safeguards.
We do not sell your personal information.
International transfers
Some of our providers are located outside your country. Where information is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the providers’ standard contractual clauses.
Data retention
We keep contact-form and email correspondence for as long as needed to respond to and follow up on your enquiry, and as required for our records. Server logs and analytics data are retained for limited periods consistent with the providers’ defaults.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information, to object to processing, and to data portability. EEA/UK residents may lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority. California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know and delete, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. To exercise any right, email me .
